Slope failures of hill roads

You might have studied various failure theories of the side slopes of the hills.
Here you can see the pictures of the slopes failure after the heavy rainfall. This is among highest rrainfall regions of Himachal Pradesh.
It is a kachha road constructed to the village Banon in Joginder Nagar, constructed near four years back. Still there are so many landslides on this road each year that it remains blocked for about one month in monsoon for light vehicles and two months for light vehicles.
The road is a earthen road and needs attentions for its betterment. If you have any helpful advise please feel free to write it.
I must add here that Banon is a village on the subtop of a Himalayan mountain which further elevates to a top where the famous and very beautiful Chaturbhuj temple is situated. It is nearly at a distance of 30km from Joginder Nagar and at same distance from Sarkaghat. It is a place having a good potential for the orchard.
It has produced a numbers of Army, ITBP and BSF personal. There is only a primary school in village and secondary is at a distance of 3km but still it has produced some Engineers graduated from NITs and Govt. Pyrotechnic. There are MBAs and B.Ed. also which is all possible due to hard work and determination of the people living here. The road which was constructed after such a long period should be enhanced to provide better facilities, and it should be linked with the road connecting the Mandi town with short distance.
There is a need to stabilize the soil to make it better.
